On 20 March, we had a great opportunity to meet with Samantha Harris from the Department of Home Affairs and connect over shared goals for supporting our community.
Polish Constitution Day (3rd May) Celebrations in Melbourne
This year’s 3rd May Constitution Day celebrations in Melbourne were marked by a special official visit from Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs alongside Anna Sochańska, Director of the Department for Cooperation with the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad. The program included meetings with the Polish community, visits to key cultural and memorial sites, and participation in a commemorative dinner honouring the Polish Constitution of 3 May 1791, highlighting the strength and unity of the Polish diaspora in Australia.
