Polcare Volunteer Appreciation Concert 2026

Polcare and the Polish Community Council of Victoria proudly celebrated Volunteer Week with the successful Volunteer Appreciation Concert, a special event dedicated to recognising the extraordinary individuals who generously dedicate their time, compassion, and energy to supporting the Polish community across Victoria.

The evening brought together volunteers, community members, families, and organisational representatives in a warm atmosphere filled with gratitude, music, and community spirit. The event was an opportunity to acknowledge the invaluable contribution volunteers make every day through their kindness, commitment, and willingness to help others.

Throughout the evening, special recognition was given to the many volunteers who support seniors, assist people experiencing loneliness, provide transport, help organise cultural and community events, and offer companionship and care to those in need. Their everyday acts of kindness continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless members of the Polish community.

Polcare highlighted that volunteers remain at the heart of the organisation’s mission, enabling the delivery of compassionate care and support services with dignity, warmth, and understanding.

A highlight of the evening was the wonderful concert performance by Polish singer Michał Macioch, whose music brought joy, emotion, and a strong sense of connection to everyone in attendance. His performance created a warm and uplifting atmosphere that perfectly reflected the spirit of the event — celebrating community, gratitude, and togetherness. The audience greatly appreciated the opportunity to enjoy Polish music and culture as part of this special Volunteer Week celebration.

On behalf of the Board, staff, and wider community, Polcare and the Polish Community Council of Victoria expressed their deepest appreciation to all volunteers for every hour contributed, every helping hand offered, and every act of kindness shown throughout the year.
