Census 2026

The 2026 Australian Census will take place again on Tuesday, 11 August 2026, and every response matters. We encourage everyone in our community to complete the Census and proudly identify their Polish heritage, ancestry, and language where applicable. Census data is used by governments to make important decisions about funding and services, including community programs, aged care, health, language support, education, and multicultural initiatives.

The stronger our community is represented in the Census, the better governments can understand our needs and provide appropriate support. Everyone in Australia should participate, including permanent residents, visa holders, international students, and visitors who are in Australia on Census night. By taking part and accurately reflecting your Polish background, you are helping strengthen the future of our community for generations to come.
